Head down the lane opposite the toilets in the centre of the village passing green farm on your right.
At the bottom of the hill head left following the River Bradford downstream.
There is a metal gate to the stone bridge shortly after the cottages on the opposite side of the river. Don’t cross the bridge but turn right up the path to a stile at the top.
Over the stile, head up and right to a gate.
Trend slightly left through 3 gates.
After the 3rd gate (old barn over to your left) head diagonally left to another wooden gate.
Through gate then head right aiming just right of the big tree to a stile.
Over field passing a line of small trees to another stile by a large tree.
Straight ahead crossing another stile and then a gate.
Trend slightly left downhill to another stile then straight on to stone bridge.
Don’t cross the bridge but continue on same side of stream to a gate and metal steps down to path and wooden bridge.
Over bridge and continue downstream for 150 mtrs then take the path on your left back uphill to Middleton.
