From “T” junction by Pym Chair car park head down the road signposted “Saltersford”.
150 mtrs beyond Pym Chair Farm (on your right) take footpath on right (just as road levels).
Over stile and head downhill passing the rough wet ground on the left.
Pass Green Stack Farm on its right.
Continue directly ahead passing barn on its left.
Continue downhill passing more wet rough ground, skirting it either to the left or right, to reach 2 metal kissing gates and entrance to Dunge Farm.
Follow signs through Dunge Farm and continue on farm track beyond the house and barn.
At cattle grid take track left downhill towards Tunstead Knoll Farm.
Just before the farmhouse, take gate on left and head diagonally across field to a kissing gate.
Through kissing gate and turn right downhill and follow either side of fence to the barn at the bottom.
Head round the barn either way to its bottom right hand corner.
A faint path heads downhill from the bottom corner of the barn indicated by a waymarker on a tree (a fallen tree blocks the path initially).
Follow this path with line of bushes on your left to stream.
Over stream then diagonally rightwards uphill to a stile.
Straight ahead over stile for 50 mtrs then turn left, following a line of trees to a stile at far end.
Over stile bear right slightly aiming for the house in the distance (path here is not clearly defined) via a wooden bridge.
From wooden bridge head uphill to left end of farm.
Cross farm track directly and go through gate on opposite side.
Head diagonally leftwards uphill following shallow gulley.
At metal gate/stile continue in same direction to reach the ridge.
Follow ridge along over rough ground keeping fence/wall on your left to metal gate and stile at far end of field.
Continue on farm track to another gate and 10 mtrs beyond gate turn left downhill.
Pass Bank Clough Farm on your right, and continue downhill to pond and Burton Springs Farm on right.
Beyond pond take kissing gate on right and continue to stile at far end of field, keeping stream over to your left.
Pass barn on left then left over 2 bridges.
After 2nd bridge take right fork and head in direction of Saltersford Hall, stream now over to your right.
Straight over at road and follow signs around right side of Saltersford Hall.
Continue up farm track and turn left onto another farm track between barn and farmhouse.
Follow farm track to road then right onto road uphill and back to car.
