Through gate and turn right keeping wall on your right.
At top of field bear right over cattle grid and then take stile on left of farm track (well signposted “G” for Gritstone Trail).
Keep following Gritstone Trail waymarkers (broken wall when you reach it will be on your left).
Where path splits take right fork heading past the waymaker in the middle of the boggy area.
Over stile in broken wall, continuing uphill and trending slightly left.
Waymarkers lead you to farm track which leads to the farm and road.
Right onto road for 0.5 Km.
Take footpath on right over stile by metal gate.
Head directly downhill (wall on your right) to farm.
Keep farm on your left and at end of farm buildings turn right between 2 paddocks.
At end of paddocks turn left downhill following a slight depression.
Follow the path to bridge at bottom.
Over bridge and bear left uphill to stile.
Over stile then take right fork through Harrop Wood passing bench overlooking stream (nice lunch stop).
On reaching the bridge and house beyond, take the stone slabs over stream to the left before the bridge.
Uphill to gate and stile at top. Pass cottage on your right and follow the track back to layby.
